The sports port of Chiclana - Puerto Sancti Petri extends infront of the old urbanization of Sancti Petri which nowadays is abandoned. 

Yachts, sailing boats, bars and restaurants are a strong contrast to the abondoned houses of the old Sancti Pteri and create a special atmosphere making this port an interesting sight to see, even if you are not into watersports.

Windsurf Sancti Petri - Chiclana is situated in the end of the Port of Sancti Petri.

It is run by the company Novojet renting the material and offering classes for kitesurfing and windsurfing in Chiclana de la Frontera.

Windsurfer love the conditions of the Playa La Barrosa in the area of Sancti Petri and every year you can see more and more kitesurfers here as well.

Apart from windsurfing and kitesurfing, Novojet gives you a chance to learn other sports like sailing on different sizes of boats, scuba diving, kayaking and also activities for handicaped people.

Canoeing in the Port of Sancti Petri Chiclana

Canoeing is the right sport to discover the coastline around Chiclana. 

Various companies (e.g. Nautic Center "Sancti Petri Kayak") show you the basics of this sport and offer guided tours. 

For example, the Castle of Sancti Petri on a small island infront of the beach can be reached from the port with kayaks.

Every year in July hundreds of canoes and kayaks meet in the Sports Port of Sancti Petri for their own special "holiday of the canoe".

 

Diving in the Port of Sancti Petri Chiclana

The underwater world of the coast of Sancti Petri has a lot to offer to diving enthusiasts. 

Over the centuries many ships went down in this coast area, creating this fantastic world underneath the waterline and inviting divers to enter it for a while.
